In Memoriam

Robert Roginson
1938 - 1975

Bob Roginson, our classmate, died 28 years ago next month. He died instantly from a massive heart attack in 1975. "Rogie" graduated from Cal State L.A. with a degree in accounting and was a stock broker until his death. "Rogie" sold me my first stock, Taco Bell, and when it lost $1 I called him and unmercifully chewed him out. This was 2 days before he died and I have felt badly about it ever since.

Bob married a PHS girl, Ann Rabun and they had three children, Robert Raymond Roginson lll, Thomas Rockland Roginson, and Elizabeth R. Roginson. 

I remember Bobby and "Rocky" walking with their hands on their father's casket up the church steps. A real tear jerker! He would now be a grandfather to five. His children are very successful which is a testimony to "Rogie's" good genes and to Ann's care in raising them.

"Rogie" was my best friend and a special friend to many and we miss him dearly.
