Ron Norick

I had the good fortune of going to Jackson Elementary school & Washington Jr. High and Eliot Jr. High and ultimately John Muir High, graduating in 1956.

One of the first people I met at Washington Jr. High was Mike Hallinan.  At first he was a frightening experience.  He was hard as nails and never backed down from any confrontation. We really became good friends over the years, and understood why we felt it so important to hold our ground no matter what the price we would have to pay for that freedom.

From here on out I will miss him dearly, and never back down from that opportunity to express my opinion.  I will be a little more strident, carrying a little of Mikes independence with me!

May God Have His Sole, I will help carry his memory.
