Patricia Carr-Bosley

I came to John Muir from Marshall Jr. High while all my other
classmates went on to PHS which , at that time, was on the
Pasadena City College campus.  My family had moved to Altadena
that summer which put me in the John Muir school district.

I didn't know a lot of kids, only Jim and Eddie, and a few other's that I had met at
the Altadena Country Club dances.  Judy Ferguson approached me on that first day
at Muir and was about to become one of my dearest friends.

Her beautiful warm friendly brown eyes, her charm, exciting personality and friendliness
were more than I ever expected. How could I ever hope to make such a wonderful friend so
quickly?  But there she was, taking me under her wing and introducing me to
her friends from Eliot and making me feel so very welcome.  On that day we
became friends forever.

Through the years we stayed in touch, exchanging phone calls, letters, Christmas cards,
and pictures of our kids.  When we saw each other, at the last reunion, we screamed
and hugged just as if time had never passed.

Judy is and always will be an important part of my favorite memories of those fun loving
high school days.  There are friends that remain close for a lifetime, Judy was that kind of
friend.

I will always love and remember this very special friend.
