John Muir Junior High School

The first separate high school building opened March 1904 on the Furlong Tract on Walnut Street, between Euclid and Los Robles Avenues.    In 1913 it became John Muir Junior High School.
In 1917, this school became known as the John Muir Intermediate School, but in 1921 the name was again changed back to  John Muir Junior High School.
