The Muir/PHS reunion committee is planning to hold a combined class reunion
August 18, 19, 20 and 21, 2005

SAVE THOSE DATES!

The combined reunion committee is planning a ěspectacular four day weekend extravaganzaî reunion that should top anything you have experienced before. There will be plenty of time to visit with your classmates. You can pick and choose your events, come for the entire 4 days, or 3 days, or 2 days or Saturday night only. We will offer a 50th Muir/PHS reunion memory book option following the reunion for those who cannot attend or wish to document the event.

The weekend starts on Thursday, August 18, 2005 with a golf tournament at: BROOKSIDE GOLF COURSE (1133 Rosemont Avenue, Pasadena, adjacent to the Rose Bowl) Brookside features two beautiful 18-hole championship courses, a clubhouse, restaurant, dining room, golf shop, putting greens, driving range and ample parking.

This tournament will be open to the men and women from John Muir and Pasadena High Schools class of 1955 and La Canada. Eliot, Marshall, McKinley, Temple City, Washington and Wilson Junior High Schools class of 1953. We are holding the tournament on Thursday because on Friday the reunion committee is planning a super reception gathering at the Rose Bowl and we donít want to squish two events together so as the golfers have difficulty with one event running into another.

Our golf Genie of the desert, Duke Rohlffs, is chairing the tournament and if it is like his other golfing events he has put on, it will be fun, fun, fun.

On Friday, August 19, 2005 the reunion will be holding a class reception on the ěCourt of Championsî in the Pasadena Rose Bowl.

On Saturday August 20, 2005 we will hold the combined Muir/PHS Class of 1955 banquet dinner at the Pasadena Ritz-Carlton (formally the Pasadena Huntington Hotel).

Then on Sunday, August 21, 2005 we will hold a brunch at the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Headquarters on Orange Grove Blvd (It was the old Wrigley Mansion). It will be catered by one of Pasadenaís great catering services and will feature a ěTournament Open Houseî where classmates can enjoy guided tours.

We have added an optional 4-Day Royal Caribbean boat cruise to Baja immediately following the reunion beginning on Monday, August 22, 2004 starting at Los Angeles and visiting EnseŇada Mexico, San Diego and Catalina Island.
